Together with our subsidiary, ComNetMedia AG, we are running the technologically-advanced wide area network of the German Chambers of Commerce and Industry as well as of their National Organisation, DIHK. The 80 German Chambers, the DIHK located in Berlin, its representation at the European Union in Brussels as well as further Chamber service providers are working with the modern state-of-the-art technology MPLS for internet and e-mail access as well as for the use of our solutions for all the Chambers' information and data management tasks with more than 8,000 users and more than 200 points of contact in total. Concerning the Chambers' wide area network, the service portfolio of IHK-GfI and ComNetMedia is offering WAN, IT Security, Web Access, VPN, Domain Registration and Blackberry Services.
The network perfectly meets the Chambers' high requirements regarding quality, stability, security and transfer profitability. Furthermore, this network is already today in a position to face the continously increasing demand concerning the transfer of data, language and applications in the Chambers and the DIHK.
